Having originally been set up to promote the town centre during the construction of its new shopping centre, "arc", this website is now being managed by Bury St Edmunds Town Centre Management Group. During the last three years the number of people visiting this website has grown to more than 8,000 a month.     Town Centre Management in Bury St Edmunds is pleased to announce the launch of 'A BID for BURY' This is an exciting new initiative for the business community of our Town Centre. A Business Improvement District is a partnership with the local business community to develop projects and services that will benefit the trading environment within the boundary of a clearly defined commercial area. By the begining of 2009 over 80 Business Improvement Districts had been established across England, Wales and Scotland, we are truly excited that Bury St Edmunds is now to go forward as a BID candidate.
